"We loved the work a Blade of Grass had done at friends' home in Duxbury so hired them to help re-design a poorly functioning pool and patio area as well as a new design for our front yard landscaping and driveway. Jim and Colin were a joy to work with. The creative process was collaborative and fun. Colin managed through some challenging issues with our town's conservation requirements and kept us always current with timing and budget status. Frank managed such a hard-working crew of guys from masons and pool installers to earth movers and irrigation system installers. The degree of professionalism of a Blade of Grass was just amazing. The final project results is beyond our expectations and provided a beautiful backdrop for our son's August wedding. We enjoyed working with this company so much we've already begun a new project designing the landscaping for the cottage next door."

"We first worked with Jim and Colin in 2007 when a Blade of Grass transformed our front yard from a barren wasteland of wood chips to a stunningly gorgeous garden. In late 2012, we embarked on a major project to rebuild our backyard and add a pool and patio. Jim and Colin once again created a beautiful design and were flexible in working with our requests as the project progressed. Kevin and the crew worked on the complex project for months, and were respectful and as unobtrusive as possible. The result, which can be seen in pictures on this website, far exceeded our expectations. Heather and her crew maintain all of our gardens throughout the year, and are very responsive to our questions and requests. While not inexpensive, I cannot recommend a Blade of Grass more highly. They helped to transform our yard into a place we love to be."

"a Blade of Grass landscaped my back yard almost 2 years ago. They took what was a boring lawn with a sloping bed where nothing much was growing - and created a beautiful private "bowl" with retaining walls and varied plantings of trees, shrubs and ground cover of interesting textures and contrasts. LOVE my back garden now! They gave me an accurate budget and timetable up front and pretty much stuck to it - much to my husband's delight.
