Weston, Massachusetts | A deft application of scale and proportion were essential for achieving a balanced aesthetic with textured layers of lush flora framing well organized patio spaces. These volumes embrace a lawn at their heart, while creating a well-proportioned, graceful, and harmonious transition to the surrounding woodland. Also among the client’s wishes was a redefinition of the guest entry experience.

To address this need a Blade of Grass designed a grand parking court, clarifying and streamlining its organization, allowing for intuitive transitions to the residence guest entrance. The court margins were planted with thick courses of deciduous and evergreen shrubs, creating a harmonious and enchanting landscape.
